HUSKINSON, BENJAMIN

HISTORY, HISTORY OF SCIENCE, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY STUDIES

Benjamin is a cultural historian of science and religion. His newly-released book from Palgrave examines the history of anti-evolution movements in the United States using a market model of religion.

He is currently engaged in several projects which include perceptions of scientific consensus, automation and AI, and intersections of religion and technology.

He has been a guest commentator on BBC Radio on a range of issues relating to American political behavior, and has been a contributor to several publications, including The American Interest and The Conversation.

He was elected to Fellow of the Royal Historical Society in 2020.
