HISTORY AND PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE, PHILOSOPHY, PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY STUDIES

Hauke Riesch is a sociologist of science at Brunel University London, with an interdisciplinary background with degrees in physics and philosophy, philosophy and history of science, and science and technology studies.

He has worked mainly on the sub-discipline of “Public Understanding of Science” and the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, and Brunel University, focussing on risk and the public understanding of risk, in particular environmental and energy policy risks. He has also published on science blogs, science comedy, bioethics, and the sociology of philosophy of science.
