Dr. Ronald Wright attended Fuller Theological Seminary where he received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a M.A. in Theology. He has taught in the psychology departments at Southern
Nazarene University (1997 – 2002; 2010 – Present) and Mount Vernon Nazarene University (2002 – 2010), as well as a semester in 2007 as a Fulbright Scholar in the Master’s Program of
Psychotherapy and Psychodiagnostics at the University of Bucharest, Romania. He returned to Southern Nazarene University in 2010 as the Chair of the Department of Psychology and
Counseling. Ron can be reached at [email protected]. He is currently a part of the Bridging the Two Cultures of Science and the Humanities II grant programme through Scholarship &
Christianity in Oxford (SCIO). Ron is interested in Terror Management Theory and the impact of security-focused and growth-focused religious orientations on faith development, particularly as
those orientations interact with the science and religion dialogue.
