Doug Oman is professor at the University of California at Berkeley’s School of Public Health. His teaching and research investigates spirituality/religion and health, including randomized trials of spiritual meditation, mindfulness, and mantram repetition. He has a special interest in fostering appropriate attention spiritual/religious factors in public health. A former president of APA Division 36 (Society for the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality), he has 100+ professional publications. Selected publications, all open access:
