Emily Tippins completed her Master of Science degree at Carleton University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Population Health at the University of Ottawa.

Her research focuses on how individual and social identities (including religious and political ideologies) impact trust in science and health behaviours, such as addiction and vaccine intentions.
