Kerryn is a postdoctoral researcher and dissertation coach, driven when it comes to outreach and inreach within the sciences and academia.

Her research focuses on evolution education in South African secondary schools, but she is passionate about the accessibility and inclusivity of science and academia more broadly.

She has published and presented her research internationally, has won and been placed in several science communication competitions, has written a chapter on human evolution within a free open online textbook, and has been a part of the Rising Star excavations in the Cradle of Humankind.
