SILVA, IGNACIO

Ignacio Silva is Professor of Theology and Sciences at the Philosophy Institute, Universidad Austral.

He was formerly a Research Fellow at the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion and a member of the Faculty of Theology and Religion, University of Oxford. He holds degrees in philosophy and theology, and a major theme of his research is understanding the historical development of local relations between sciences and religion. He is an elected fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion, for which he serves as Associate Executive Secretary.
