Gabriel Odion Obomese is a lecturer at the Federal University Lokoja-Nigeria, and a Ph.D. student at Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria.

His research curiosities are in ethics of technology, bioethics, social ethics, religion and social cohesion, LGBTQ question, religion and modernization, economy, migration, development, identity politics, ethno-religious chauvinism, youths restiveness, cybercrime and internet fraudsters in Nigeria, techno-salvation, especially the influence of technology on spirituality, ritual, transhumanism, eschatology, environmental issues such as climate change, sacred and profane spaces in material spirituality, Christianity, Islam and women religious studies in Nigeria.
