Dr Caroline McCalman is a discourse analyst working at the intersection of the social sciences, Science and Technology Studies (STS), and religious studies.
Having recently been awarded her PhD from the University of Sheffield (“Nuclear heresy: environmentalism as implicit religion), Caroline is currently working on a number of publications arising from her thesis while also searching for a suitable postdoctoral research position. In the future, Caroline hopes to use her work to encourage interdisciplinary working between the social sciences and humanities, in particular to promote the use of religious conceptual tools and terminology to aid comprehension of social phenomena.
