Dr Amy Unsworth is Lecturer in Science and Society for the Natural Sciences programme at University College London (UCL), and was formerly a Research Fellow in UCL’s Department for Science and Technology Studies. She gained her PhD in Biology at UCL and Cancer Research UK, and subsequently studied Science Communication at Birkbeck College. She has researched and developed contemporary science exhibitions and public events at The Science Museum, London, and worked on a British Council intercultural and inter-religious dialogue project. She received training in social research methods at the University of Cambridge and Rice University, Houston, TX.
