NAIRN, ANTHONY K

MEDIA & CULTURE | PHILOSOPHY | SOCIOLOGY

Anthony K. Nairn is a PhD Candidate at York University (Toronto) and Executive Assistant for the International Society for Science and Religion (ISSR).

He is interested in narrative and its effect on culture and psychology, particularly via affect. His research attempts to tackle the historical and philosophical mechanisms contributing to a “reoccupation” of religious narrative via science. In other words, why does science have a creation story, and what does that mean for us?
