Dr. Yulin Lu is a postdoctoral fellow in the Centre for Theology and Religious Studies at Lund University in Sweden. She is currently working on a project about Buddhist Life Education in secondary schools in Hong Kong, focusing on the features of its teaching paradigms and its impact on students’ attainments, behaviours, and thought-worlds.

Her primary research areas are sociology of religion, sociological theory, religious education, and religion and science. She has employed both quantitative and qualitative methods in her research. She is also interested in applying Natural Language Processing approaches to sociological research. She has forthcoming and published articles in Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion and British Journal of Sociology.
