Miguel Farias is Reader in Cognitive and Biological Psychology at Coventry University.

My work explores the psychology of belief, specifically, the psychological impact of beliefs and spiritual practices, including meditation and pilgrimage. I am also interested in the biological roots of our beliefs and  how we can change them.
