Interests: The history of science and the interactions of theology and science in Late Antiquity and the Byzantine era.

Methods: Science-engaged theology, transdisciplinarity (as defined by Basarab Nicolescu).

Working on a monograph on Clement of Alexandria’s interdisciplinary theory of nature contemplation (under contract with Routledge, to submit by the end of 2024).

I edited and contributed to a special issue on Byzantine science and technology for De Medio Aevo, to be released soon.
