Eszter Pál is Associate Professor of Sociology and chair at the Department of Social Theory at Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences, Budapest. Her main areas of expertise are the history of sociology, the history and sociology of science, scientific discourses in Victorian England, early American sociology, language and social science.

Her current research focuses on different cases of the circulation of scientific knowledge based on a discourse analytical approach.
