I am a Knowledge Exchange Fellow at the University of Nottingham and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Natural History Museum.

My expertise lies in the relationship between literature and the Earth sciences during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with emphases on subjects like extinction, deep time, evolution, creationism, occultism, and natural history museum collections. My first monograph, Reimagining Dinosaurs in Late Victorian and Edwardian Literature, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2021. My next monograph, Contesting Earth’s History in Transatlantic Literary Culture, 1860–1935, is forthcoming with Oxford University Press.
